Golf Union of Wales Roadshows
Managing Successful Golf Club Marketing October 14th - 16th 2008
Would you like to attract more members and more visitor business to your golf club? Are you struggling to fit marketing into your working week? What key things can you do to increase revenue at your club?
Commercial pressures facing golf clubs are greater today than perhaps they have ever been. Recent research indicates that total club membership numbers are static; there’s an increasing number of clubs actively seeking new members; attracting casual green fee customers, society and corporate groups is becoming more and more important but even more competitive.
In recognition of these challenges,
"Golf in Wales partnership of the Golf Union of Wales, Visit Wales (WAG) and Ryder Cup Wales"
ran a series of marketing seminars inn October for golf clubs to help improve their marketing techniques and effectiveness. These workshops were delivered by Jane Carter of Golf Unlimited, with more than 20 years experience of working in the golf media and the wider golf industry, and Bev de Soto, of Gemini Network Media, a golf e-marketing specialist.
