Welsh Open Youths' Championship

The Championship is decided over four rounds, with two rounds played each day. There is a cut following the 2nd round with the best 36 and ties going forward to the second day. Entry is limited to 66 competitors and the handicap limit is 5.

There was a suspension of play of approaching three hours during the 3rd round due to poor visibility. As a result the Championship was reduced to 54 holes. 

Ben Stow (Rushmore), runner-up in last week's Welsh Open Stroke Play Championship at St Pierre, went one step better, returning three under par rounds, to take the Open Youths' title to complete a successful week in Wales. Runner - Up, Will James (Oswestry) received the Ben Enoch Memorial Trophy as the highest placed Welsh competitor.
