CCV to Sponsor Welsh Handicap Team Championship

The GUW is delighted to announce that CCV is the new sponsor of the Welsh Handicap Team Championship from 2010-2012. The Championship which is the biggest participation golf event in Wales with over 6,000 golfers competing in club qualifiers will be known as the Caddysure Welsh Handicap Team Championship.  Caddysure is CCV’s individual golfer’s insurance policy which is endorsed by the GUW for further information on the policy please contact John Hayes on 01708-777750.  As part of the sponsorship arrangement CCV will also be sponsoring the 2010 Home Internationals to be held at Ashburnham from 11^th to 13^th August.

The Championship is a team stableford event for club teams of four players per team. Initially played in regions, the aggregate of the best three individual stableford scores count. Two teams per region qualify for the National Final.
