Areas/Organisers

The 2007 holders of the LGU Silver & Bronze Medals in a club affiliated to the GUW will qualify to play in an Area Final.
NOTE : The players who qualify for the Gold & Silver Medals cannot be substituted.

Silver and Bronze Challenge Bowls

You are asked to hold a competition in your Club to find two qualifiers for the Area Final of the Challenge Bowls (one Silver and one Bronze).

An entry fee of £2.00 per person is to be charged for the Bowls
Competitions. Details of the respective winners should again be completed on the entry form.

NOTE : A Challenge Bowl qualifier can be substituted. Should a Bowl Qualifier know that she will be unable to play in the Final of this event, she should consider standing down to allow the player with the next best score to play in the Area Final. In this way she could be helping a fellow member get to the All Wales Final.

The entry form, together with the total Challenge Bowl entry fees, should be returned to the Area Organiser by 12th May 2008. Cheques should be made payable to the GUW.

The respective winners will be advised of their starting times at the Area Final as soon as possible after the closing date.

The All Wales Finals of the four competitions will be held on Thursday 14th August 2008 at LLandrindod Wells Golf Club.
